Who is Sheetla Mata
She is the incarnation of Mata Parvati (Aadi-Shakti and the power of Lord Shiva) in the beginning of this creation to kill the demon “jwarasur” who was doing cruelty with the human beings as well as Gods of Heaven. It was creating obstacles in the welfare of the creation. So, Goddess Parvati took incarnation as an old lady with white hair, broom in her hand and sitting on the Donkey. This formation of Goddess is known as Sheetla Mata.
